Founded over 35 years ago, TNI-EMS knows engineering. We specialize in envisioning, designing and constructing special machines and automation systems for companies across the US with an emphasis on flexibility. These systems include in-line, modular, and rotary transfer designs.

In addition, we have designed and built laser welding systems, assembly systems, and water jet cutting systems for the food industry. We also provide systems integration, robotics integration and more. All of our engineering solutions utilize the latest “state of the art” controls and components.

TNI-EMS is located in the Traverse City Airport Industrial Park in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan. We occupy a 40,000 square foot facility and employ 51 people. Our experience and size allows us to handle most engineering challenges and we have been consistently recognized as a premiere engineering company.

We offer complete engineering services including concept and design of all controls and mechanical requirements. Our controls design team utilizes Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Fanuc control systems. We use Ethernet communication protocols to control Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Fanuc servo systems and hydraulic-pneumatic work stations.

In addition, our mechanical concept and design team uses AutoCAD and SolidWorks design software to provide accurate 2D and 3D mechanical diagrams. Our controls design team utilizes AutoCAD Electrical.

We also maintain an in-house modern machine shop and a climate controlled CMM room for part verification – both are supported with a highly skilled workforce.
